Yep another early ride to miss the heat.
Well all went according to plan,..almost..5 Geese showed up, Rod GS1200,Cos RS1200,Rod Jn Suzi 750, Mike L Kwaka 1400 and Sue D, V Strom. We headed off via Bli Bli, Rosemount, Paynter Crk rd,up over Panorama Dve and down into Palmwoods before taking a little known road to Eudlo which did entail just under a km of dirt much to the angst of one or two riders, get over it ! you can wash them, they won't shrink, we continued over to Landsborough via Old Gympie rd and Tunnel Ridge rd and a run up Lower Mt Mellum Rd and onto McCarthys' Lookout for a quick break and chat, finding a cool strong breeze coming from the NthWest.
A run along Stanley River rd took us to Burnet Lane thru Reeseville before dropping down Connondale Range and across the Mary Valley to our planned coffee stop at 'thepackingshed' near Imbil uh Oh !! closed until early March DOH !! oh well continue onto Pete's at Carters Ridge where beverages and food were ingested along with some interesting conversation after which we all took off for home before the heat really started to kick in, a great morning out and a few more to come while the hot weather is about.
