A cool crisp morning saw 9 Geese at Yandina. Ian, KTM 1190 and Mick, V Strom had already decided on a longer ride out to Bunya Mtns for the day and took off as the remainder did not have the time for an all day ride so a northern run was agreed on.
The remaining Geese were Rod 1200GS, Jag 1200R, Cos 1200RS, Steve 1200GS, Pete Triumph Explorer, Dave Kwaka 600 and White Mike Kwaka 1400.
The rest of us took off out via North Arm, Carters Ridge, Imbil, Kandanga, Amamoor on some favourite roads, (Diamondfield, Amamoor-Dagun) and then we headed back over the Highway to Cooran for a quick stop and a chat.
The ride then took us along Coles Crk Rd up the old Hway to Black Mtn and Lawnville rd before dropping down into Cooroy and along Nandroya rd down to Eumundi and a quick run down the Bruce to Yandina and Invigor8 for coffee and brekky, where Garry, MT09 and Max, Honda 1300 decided not to do early but were still heading off for destination unknown.
Around 2 hrs or so of good riding, little traffic and a good pace was set, a most enjoyable way to start the day.
