4 Geese and a visitor took a run to Killarney for an overnighter, the start from Peachester was a bit chilly Sat 20th May and we made our 1st stop at Fernvale where the temp became reasonable, from there through Marburg, Rosewood, Kalbar and to Boonah for fuel and a coffee at the usual 'Flavours Cafe'. We headed to Rathdowney for a run downs the 'Lions Road' as 2 riders had not been down it ( note it is quite badly potholed on the NSW side) and we got into Kyogle for latish lunch.
The run from Kyogle to Killarney via Woodenbong is greatly improved for those that know the road, it has been finally upgraded almost the way no potholes or patches just smooth gravel still to be linemarked ( one small section still undergoing reconstruction).
Overnight temp in Killarney was down to 3c so we waited a bit until it was bearable (yeah wimps) and an easy run back via Warwick MaMa crk to Esk etc....won't want to do a run again down that way until it warms up a bit.
