A small gaggle of mature Geese set off for a leisurely outing to Imbil where a recovery period was planned in, as we old folks no longer have the stamina we once had. It took some time but we were eventually able to continue and made our way at a leisurely pace to Montville where we once more took an extended break. Lunch and a few soft drinks seemed to revive us sufficiently for us to contemplate making our weary ways home.
We have made a group decision to amend the ride motto - it will henceforth be "here to socialise, not to ride". Application forms for the local chapter of Ulysses are in the post to the day's participants.
