Hi to all, first up I have been away working so I hope the Thursday rides have been well attended.
Also while away I have been getting a bit of pushbike training in for the Annual Charity ride 'Bike4Burns' conducted for QLD Fire personnel. The ride raises funds for the Childrens Burns Unit at Lady Cilento Hospital with funds going directly to purchase equipment and conduct research into treating burns.
This year we are riding for 6 days from Townsville to Cairns the hard way up and over the Atherton Tablelands, if you are able to donate to this cause there is a link on the WildGeese Facebook, if you do not use Facebook there should be a link below, failing that I will hopefully have raffle tickets to sell when back in town, bring your money !!
