Thursday morning had 9 Geese gathered at Yandina for coffee and brekky, one was unable to ride due to family commitments, the rest had a ball !!
With Rod leading the route for the first hour was up through North Arm and Skyring Creek Rd, Belli Crk rd, Lawnville Rd to Black Mtn, Pomona then headed towards Boreen Pt and back roads into Kin Kin at what could be describe as a lively pace and not too hot weather wise.
From Kin Kin the route was up the Kin Kin range to Cooran and Coles Ck Rd, Carlson Rd and the Old Bruce Highway and into the back roads linking Dagun, Amamoor and Kandanga while keeping an eye out for fallen trees and some debris on the roads after the stormy weather that had been through there overnight, then a quick run across the Valley up over The Bluff and into Kenilworth where food and beverages were consumed and then the heavens opened with water flowing down the gutters, which made the locals happy as they had missed out overnight, so 8 soggy Geese left Kenilworth to find there way home only to find 5 mins down the road it was all dry !
A great morning of spirited riding and good company.
