A large number of Geese turned up for Thursday 24th ride, 15 in total at Invigor8 with one not riding so that of course means 14 (calculator not needed!)and on a variety of bikes.
Colin led us thru BliBli to Eudlo Flats rd to Forest Glen then up Ilkley rd 'Rocket Launcher' out thru Eudlo to Landsborough and into the Glasshouse Mtns for a stop at the lookout and some interesting views and discussions re the Aboriginal Dreamtime legend of the Mtns and the Scientific version as well, also some Politically incorrect statements on other issues !!
Hmm no thunder or lightning came down from above :-).....
A stop for hydration at 'Glass on Glass House' café and where Steve had tyre issues and said he would catch and CosGoose headed off.
So 12 now and led by Rod via the turf farms to Wamurran and Campbells Pocket Rd over Mt Mee and James rd and then back up Mt Mee and down into Delaneys Creek at 'The Place2Be' for a snack and more hydration as the temp was nudging 38C. Steve then rejoined us there.
After more discussion on a variety of subjects we headed off thru Woodford and up Bellthorpe to Stanley River Rd where due to a variety of reasons,some known and some unknown (some took Postmans Track some didn't, one had loose luggage problems) the group split up and ended going home in smaller groups.
Even though it was rather hot the ride was enjoyed and the discussion and company were appreciated by all.
