5 Geese gathered at Pete's Bellbird Café at Carters Ridge only to find it not open until 0900,oops.
So it was decided to leave at 0830 and head over to Kenilworth for a cuppa and some for brekky, so Col on his GS and Peter on a Honda 250 dirt bike hit the dirt while Rod on his GS, Dave on his latest purchase a Kawa 600,Jeff on an MT09 and Lee on his Ducati took off for bitumen roads only to met by Ozzie coming in at the intersection, we took off and all met up at Kenilworth where another 5 Geese turned up (Jag 1200R, Ian KTM ,Garry MT-09,Dave Kawa Ninja and Max Yamaha XJR) after being at Yandina and found out about the change of venue.
Also by chance riding by at Kenilworth was Sue D and son Luke who stopped to say hello.
Due to most of us having commitments later in the day it was decided a short ride was suffice so with Col and Peter turning off at Charlie Mooreland to hit more dirt the rest of us travelled across the Mary Valley up Connondale, through Reeseville, Stanley River Rd, Bald Knob, back towards Maleny then across the Blackall range and down into Palmwoods to Ricks Garage for a break and a cuppa and for some to have a snack, the ride was a bit slower due to traffic in the best twisty parts, groan..grumble etc... but most enjoyable.
After a break we all went our separate ways, please note a discussion took place for next Thursday's venue and we decided to meet at the Doonan Café next to the 'Fruits' shop on Eumundi-Noosa Rd at Doonan (adjacent to the Landscape supply yard) at 0800 for a 0900 departure for those than can make it.
