Eleven Geese took off from Yandina with a run thru Valdora, North Arm, Cooroy/Black Mountain, Pomona and onto Kin Kin via Boreen/Elanda Point. Our lunch destination suggested by Ozzie and agreed upon as 'Secrets on the Lake', Lake Baroon,Montville.
Riding were, myself, Helen, Fiona, Mark, Allen, Mike, Ian, Noel, Lee, Bernie and Ozzie.
A brief leg stretch pit stop at KinKin next to the School of Arts and a phone call to check our lunch venue could accommodate us.
Then over the KinKin range to Cooran/Coles Crk Rd/ Coulsen rd left onto the Old Highway then across to the Mary Valley for a brisk run over the Kenilworth Bluff and up Obi Obi, of course then we were subdued by the speed zones and traffic across the Blackall Range to Montville.
One Geese left before our lunch stop so ten of us had a very pleasant luncheon stop before meandering away at our leisure.
While we had clouds gathering and threatening we stayed dry and were glad we did not head out Kilcoy way as there was quite a bit of storm activity with hail reported at Harlin.
