The decision was made to head north so off through North Arm and Gold Ckr rd to Skyring Crk rd, the Old Highway and Coles Crk Rd to Cooran then out through KinKin and along Gap Rd and through Cedar Pocket avoiding any dirt as rain had just passed over and out onto the Tin Can Bay Rd then into Rainbow Beach for a snack and a cuppa at the Bakery and noting the usual food place and Foodworks building up near the carpark completely closed due to a recent large internal fire.
After a suitable break and much motorbike talk and other stories we headed back to Gympie to head down along the Mary Valley as far as Tuchekoi Rd, where the old hay shed once stood, and then back onto Skyring Crk rd for a stop at Pete's Bellbird Café.
After a cuppa and a drink we took off for our respective home and other duties, all up around 300km for the day and only a little bit of wet road to deal with.
