Another dreary day weather wise on the coast. But anyway about eight riders turned up and went north for a first stop at Kandanga.
There were blokes who said north from there would be problematical given recent rain and flooding. And we couldn’t take the Woolooga-Bauple Road as it was closed although that was because of 13.1km of resealing works and they only allowed local residents on the road.
I thought we could take the Tansey Road and ride Booinbah Road into Goomeri but the Tansey Road was closed due to flood damage.
So we went to Goomeri on the highway and had lunch at the pub and then after lunch we rode west in order to turn down the Elgin Vale Road and ride Manumbar Road and Kinbombi Road west to east for a change and get in a ride for the day. We were back at Widgee about 2:30 and headed home from there…
