ild Geese

Ride Report 31 May 2018

Twelve Geese headed north in what felt like the first day of winter. Those with heated grips luxuriated in the warmth while those without showed immense fortitude to carry on! Max suggested we could burn some old railway sleepers beside the road to warm our hands Haha. We headed up Skyring Creek from Kenilworth Road towards Cooroy then to Pomona via Coles Creek Road and Dr. Pages Road to Kin Kin for a brief stop. Ozzie then led us through Cedar Pocket to Gympie and Gunalda for fuel. From there we took Old Maryborough Road back to Gympie and Hellrods Cafe for lunch. Rumour has it that Neil had to beef up his suspension after consuming a "Superburger" and chips!
So another day of good weather, good roads and good company... just the way life should be.

I live at Lake MacDonald with my wife Amanda, 2 horses, 1dog, 3 cats and a much loved Yamaha MT09. Moved here in 2016 after 30 years in Cairns to retire and enjoy the beaches ,forests and lots of twisty roads. I've ridden bikes all my life and hopefully will continue to do so for many more years.
