Just as Max gets himself sidelined, I am tentatively getting back on the bike - well, the little one. My shoulder is taking its sweet time to get over November's surgery and I don't want to end up needing further repair work, but I did gamble on a bit of dirt riding today, from Yandina to Flaxton via Mapleton Forest Reserve, then back down via Wappa Dam.
I went solo, the ride would have tested the patience of my fellow Geese as I rode very cautiously in the dirt to avoid any chance of a tumble. Made it without incident, and the little CRF was way easier on my shoulder than the GS would have been, so that will be my ride of choice for the near future.
