The weather was overcast again but anyway about seven riders left for a bit of an adventure ride out and around the coast riding through Kilcoy, Jimna and Kilkivan to complete a circuit through Widgee to home.
There is 30 or 40ks of gravel road after Jimna but it is main road (not council) so it is wide and well graded and you can ride most of it at 100km/hr so it’s OK for a different ride sometimes.
We did get a bit confused on the way in to Goomeri for lunch since some roadworks detour signs weren’t real good and so we lost a bit of time but anyway it was something different for the Thursday ride so I reckon it was all good…
