Only six starters turned up on another wet Thursday and two of those didn’t ride along either. That left Angus and Mike heading off southwards for their ride to Philip Island and me and Rod tagging along as far as Kilcoy.
After seeing them off with hugs and kisses all round (no wait a minute, sorry, that was a different day, that was the day Fiona left… No this goodbye was just a perfunctory ‘see you later’ type of goodbye thing…)
Anyway, Rod and I then formed a group of two riders and worked our way back to Kenilworth for lunch before heading homewards…
