Monday’s Ride to GOMA

Monday's ride saw five of us (Ozzie, myself, Mike, Neill and Steve) brave the heat and traffic to head straight to Brisbane, with quite a bit of lane filtering from Caloundra to the airport/gateway off ramp, as the traffic was horrendous.

We managed to navigate the city and arrived at the museum around 10:30am. Once we found the entrance and signed ourselves in, we were all lost in the magic of the motorcycle, and were well impressed with the bikes that were on display.

After a couple of hours in the exhibit, we made our way to the cafe for a burger, small but very tasty was the consensus.

After enjoying a feed and beer it was time to head home, so out through The Gap, Dayboro, Campbells Pocket Rd, Newlands Rd then out through Landsborough where some went north and the rest went east.

A great day out to see one of the best motorbike exhibits, where Ozzie showed his vast knowledge, knowing something interesting about every bike there.
