I am planning an overnight ride to the Bunya Mountains on Wed 19th July. The proposed route (subject to change) will be via Kilcoy, Esk, Crows Nest, Cooyar (lunch at Garry McCoy's store), then explore the Cooyar Range Area and overnight at the Maidenwell Pub. Next morning head up through the Bunya Mountains and home via Kingaroy, Murgon, Goomeri, Tansay, Kilkivan, checking points of interest on the way. Anyone interested let me know by Thu 13th so I can book the hotel. The hotel has 3 rooms, dormitory style accommodation and free camping.
